Since i have only tested with windows 10 so far, i would at present gear up it upward myself. As written in a previous post, the installation in a vmware is not yet properly supported, but this relates more to the generation of the hardware id. Merely since the hardware id works, I'll test it in windows 8 and arrive touch with you.

In the stop, the online activation only downloads the license that I have made bachelor to y'all and pushes it into the following folder. When the awarding starts, it is checked whether this file is in that location. If not, the popup for entering the license appears. The license itself is an verbal replica of the original, where but the PKCS#1 check is not valid. This is what vcruntime140.dll is for.

The change in the hosts file ways that EPLAN can no longer correctly resolve the dns addresses for licensing and thus cannot make calls home. Of class, the possible addresses could exist expanded by updates from the manufacturer.

The activation that I have sent is in a final state. There could only exist bug with an incorrect calculation of the hardware id. Now the possible users must be adjusted or network licenses generated.

At the moment I don't think that the manufacturer expects this activation, which is why everything should piece of work.

At the moment I'm in the process of building a GUI for keygen, which is well avant-garde. This besides gives you the opportunity to freely define the content of the license, which makes license smaller than 2mb and significantly
accelerates loading times.

Since the keygen is almost finished, I would no longer evaluate hardware ids and use the fourth dimension to terminate the keygen.

Be patient a little more

I'grand using 2.vii also and do not needed to uninstall ii.vii. Just installed 2.9 additionally. No problem.
When the new licence file ist copied, my 2.vii doesn't accept it directly. So I did the same steps for 2.vii and at present both ist working. 2.vii and 2.9.

The file vcruntime140.dll must be in the main directory of the corresponding production. This is automatically loaded into the application procedure when it is started and ensures that the license you have created yourself is checked successfully.

For eplan eletric ii.seven this is: C:\Program Files\EPLAN\Platform\2.7.3\Bin.
For eplan eletric 2.eight this is: C:\Program Files\EPLAN\Platform\2.viii.3\Bin.
For eplan eletric 2.9 this is: C:\Programme Files\EPLAN\Platform\2.9.3\Bin.

### Keygen ###
The keygen can generate a license for all current products, but simply with the right license data. There are the following 3 types of license information.

- Organization
- Module
- Option

To license a product, System_ and Module_ (with the addition "Release:") must exist available. Everything else is optional and will merely be used if the product is intended to. Option_ cannot currently be saved because I have non nevertheless seen the benefits.

I have implemented a template role so that non anybody has to assemble the license themselves. This consists of a simple text file which contains the id and the text per line. The text and the "=" can be omitted, as just the id (e.g. System_150) is relevant. If the line is invalid, it will not be added.

EplanCommon.lit is read in so that the existing licenses are known. It is checked whether the file is in the current directory. If not, at that place is a backup in keygen.

The keygen was built in a short time, which is why it is certain that non all problems will be intercepted, only it should work.
